Not investment advice

Nothing on TapeHawk — charts, the order-book heatmap, footprint or volume-profile views, marker detectors (absorption, sweep, and similar), custom indicators, or alerts — is investment, financial, or trading advice. TapeHawk shows you data and patterns in that data; apart from the AI desk below, it does not tell you what to buy, sell, or hold, and no feature — the AI desk included — is a recommendation.

The AI desk is a model's opinion

The AI desk on /terminal is a set of AI models reading the data on the page: they argue a market's case and end with BUY, SELL or HOLD and a confidence. That verdict is a language model's reading of recent data, produced automatically; it is not advice, not a recommendation made for you, and it can be wrong. It knows nothing of your finances or goals, and the figures it quotes describe the past. Never act on it alone.

Market data can be wrong

TapeHawk sources market data from third-party exchanges (currently Binance and Bybit). That data can be delayed, incomplete, or interrupted — an exchange outage, a network problem, or a dropped connection can all cause gaps or stale prices without an obvious warning on screen. Always verify important decisions against the exchange itself before acting on them.

Detectors are heuristics, not predictions

Marker detectors like absorption and sweep, and any indicator — shipped or one you wrote yourself — apply a fixed rule to past and current data. They describe a pattern that already happened; they do not predict what happens next, and they can misfire, miss real events, or disagree with each other.

Trading crypto derivatives is risky

If you use TapeHawk to inform decisions in cryptocurrency spot, futures, or other derivatives markets: these markets are volatile, futures and other leveraged products can amplify both gains and losses, and a leveraged position can be liquidated for more than your initial deposit. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and understand the product you are trading before you trade it.

Past patterns do not repeat

A pattern that a detector or indicator identified in historical data is not a guarantee that the same pattern, or the same outcome, will occur again.

You are responsible for your own decisions

Any trading or investment decision you make is yours alone. TapeHawk is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Service — see the Terms of Use, Section 8.

No affiliation with any exchange

TapeHawk is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Binance, Bybit, or any exchange whose data it displays.
